Year 5 had a fantastic day out at Leighton Hall! They learned all about bees and pollination, explored the importance of apple orchards and even had a go at cooking apples with brown sugar. The children also learned how apples can be squeezed to make fresh apple juice, which was delicious. 
Despite the rather soggy afternoon, everyone had a brilliant time – it certainly didn’t dampen their spirits!
